Clearing out the old music casettes, is a melancholic task,
remembering times when we listened to them over and over again,
recorded on them and carried them around,lending, borrowing and
gifting MusiC to family and friends.
Audio Cassettes like many objects are no longer used, but the tapes
themselves can be used as a symbol of music by making objects
out of them.
Everyday we get online and simultaneously log on to Facebook.
Instantly we are informed about whats happening in the life of most of the people we know, what they are doing, how they are feeling,and what they are into. We in our turn inform them. Constantly interacting with all this textual and visual information. This constant exchange, and sharing of lives is the new norm.
In this space we are exposed to the circle of information around each individual. All these circles are intersecting, the junctions being common friends, interests, events, these circles move closer and closer as we connect with each other and finally we are all on One page.
My medium being visual, I am attracted to photographs, graphics and visual essays. In this space i come across work and visions that are closely related to me. A friend’s creation, something appreciated, or a place someone i know has visited. This information is more tangible then random things up online. This is a personal sharing of experiences.

Such is this expression, a play of forms with a meaning that remains subjective.
Random twists and turns resemble recognizable characters which are then pulled out of the background, and detailed in its own respect. Then improvised to interact with the subsequent form.
This playful expression always shocks me when my focus zooms out of where the tip of my .5 pen is touching the paper.)

Now where do I begin… well, I clearly want this space to be an Ongoing Journal a collection and recollection of my journey as a wide eyed wonderer in this beautiful diverse country India.
Today is the 6th of july 2009 but it would only be fair to go back a couple of years and begin there.
Two years back I travelled alone for the first time, and realized that was IT. You decide and you move on, in a spontaneous way without plans or agenda, always being guided by the right people at the appropriate junctions. Exploring without prejudice only to discover the most beautiful places and connect with the most wonderful people.
Traveling and learning, from the urban hubs, of relentless chaos and endless opportunities, to the calming outdoors of bliss and content living. Taking in the wonders around me, collecting them only to build a bank of undying energy.
